I have a glock 17, 19 ,26. A friend of mine has the smith. Personally I don't like the mag disconnect. Not just in the smiths, but in anything. I shoot a glock better.
then stay with the Glock. The Glock is #1 and has been for

Been shooting a 17, 22 and 26 for a long time! They just flat out work for me. Chief complaint I hear from someone who is looking for a handgun is that "they are ugly!" so they never shoot one. All I ever pay attention to is the sights, fit for me and how well they shoot! My target only sees the muzzle end!

Been carrying a G27 or a S&W Chief Special in 40S&W for 20+ years and the only problem I’ve had was a guide rod in the G27 coming apart in the middle of a precision shooting class. I’ve put thousands of rounds through both with only the one problem. I also carry the little LCP in my pocket.
