I pushed cast bullets thru the chamber throats and compared them to bullets sized thru the Lee Sizer.
The die was sizing them .0006" smaller than the gun.
So I chucked a bore mop in a drill and broke out the Corbin Bore Lap Compound. It took a bit, but now bullets are sized .0002" under throat size.
It gets difficult to measure that close. Had to break out my best micrometer. A caliper just wasn't cutting it.
Bullets definitely come out sized with a smooth finish now. I may try it out and remove another .0001", but doubt that's needed.
This has been a fun and worthwhile project.
