another estate sale this morning. Most of the stuff was standard stuff but this Remington O3-A3 was in it. The gun is in very good condition, all original, proper cartouches on the stock. Remington Arms April 1943 stamp on the barrel. The stock is in very good condition. It has been in some old gentleman's closet for years. I looked on the internet to see what one in this condition would normally sell for. The lowest price I saw was about $850. This one is priced at $650 plus shipping.

Interesting rifle. The barrel is a 43, but the receiver was actually produced in 1942. The serial number shows that it should have a milled trigger guard and milled barrel bands. If it is still original, $650 is a decent price. the later part of 43 they switched to the stamped parts. For a while in 43 there were transition rifles that had a mix of old milled and new stamped parts. I have one of those.
