Back half is 20 3/4" and the forward half is 16 1/4". Really a neat little gun.

Ruger is so innovative with neat guns. Heals a Ruger #1 yesterday in 9.3x62. What fine pieces of art they are.

A Ruger #1 is definitely on my must have list.

Young guys bringing in rifles to put on consignment so they can get the fancy 6.5 creedmores! Recently bought a 1V .22-250 with Leupold VXIIc 4-12X and Harris bi-pod for $650 OTD! Same with a 1V in .25-06 with same scope and a 1S in .300Win Mag for 1500 OTD. People just don’t know what they have!!!

Ruger No 1s . . .

Grover Sr, larryh an all you No 1 fans;
Getting one of the Hon Mr Reeder's handguns into Australia would be like getting a date with Miss Universe; not a hope in HELL, so I'm doing the next best thing, putting a bunch of No 1s together, mostly rebuilds . . . like 17 Fireball, 22.250AI (fast twist), 300WSM, 9.3X64. There's a 25-06 in the safe, and a 416 Rigby (#28 of 100 SCI edition) coming in from over your way (9 months so far).
Would I need another one?
Getting pricey for used ones over here: AU$1600.00++
The 416 cost about US$1200.00, + + + all the shipping an bureaucracy details...
Am I just a little fixated?

Fixated? No, just fortunate to have them.

I had a .416 and a .375H&H that I picked up at an estate sale years ago. Sold them both to a guy who saw me shooting them for the first time. The .375 was brutal! .416 wasn’t bad at all. Couldn’t pass up his offer though. Also got a .338 in that estate deal which I kept but my brother now has. I’ll have to talk him out of it someday. Very accurate and pleasant to shoot but he wanted it for Colorado Elk. No. 1’s are one of the nicest rifles I’ve ever seen and handled in my opinion!

My most collected rifle. I havebeen collecting for many

years. I too have many limited and Euro calibers. Hoping they would make a RSI in 6.5x54 and a 1A in 8x57. They are fantastic rifles.

Thank you sir!
