Been playing with the 361 Falcon today

I had a set of RCBS 9.3x62 dies I got from Gary for $10 off one of his estate sales. Scotty would be proud. I cut off .40 off both dies and have a set of neck sizing and seat and crimp dies. Shooting out of a G2 don’t really need full length die any time soon. My first Impression is AA1680, and Reloader #7 for the 200gr - 232gr slugs. Reloaded #7 for the 250-286gr but need a lot more testing. I think the 361 Falcon will really shine with the Norma 232gr and the Hawk 200gr bullets. Will leave the heavy bullets for my 366GNR Encore. In my 12”G2 with no brake recoil is fine for me, can shoot it all day. About a 1/3 less than the 366GNR Encore with a brake. With a brake it would be fine for the most kids, I would think. I really like how light a G2 rig is compared to the Encore. The Encore is fine even Great for one gun to carry around for miles all day. But most of the places I hunt are thick and call for a revolver. But sometimes you come across a open area that would sure be nice to have a long range gun to spend the evening watching over the field with. I am thinking this 361 Falcon will carry
nice in my day pack for just such a trip. ;0)
