The bore limits silly tomfoolery to an extent. I do confess I like the 230-265 gr. slugs in it for hunting. Otherwise a good cast 210 gr. is just fine. MY usual is the lazy man's LEE tumble lube SWC. I have (3) .41 Rem. Magnums. I've pushed the 210 Lee's to 1400 fps with no leading, or sizing. I gravitated to the .41 as it was sort of the underdog achiever, only 0.02" under a .44 Mag. anyway. Now I have gone a bit towards the .400 as a possible diversion and I do seem to be happy with it.

It's moot anyway but we do have fun.
