Not many choices for no lead .22lr and the “green” ammo just doesn’t like to cycle. Guess I better find a new hobby! Maybe paint them all pink and add a bunch of rainbows. They should sale real quick!!!

I will help smuggle you out of their stronghold

we called them Condor loads. They had a 30 gr. bullet and were Stinger fast, but kind of goo'd my barrel. I only had one box and would have liked to try that Jim Taylor Lee Alox trick to see if the goo would stop.

Sell those mass consumer Rugers and get a proper CZ bolt gun and be happy again. The sort of tinny little Henry's seem to be fun to if you are on a budget, and you can play Cowboy.

P.S. You probably would not like Arkansas, it's just awful here, awful!

Have several good bolt rifles.

Just like tinkering with the 10/22. And yes I will leave here someday. Probably in a little box, but just the same I WILL LEAVE!

I was teasing you a little. The 30 gr. ammo

is lacking inertia? You might try some spring trickery. Wolff probably has some tuning springs for the 10/22 for standard vel or gallery stuff. You can make a 10/22 do about anything, you know.

Conversely a friend set up a 10/22 to .17 MKII. He got a heavy barrel and a bolt handle that added several ounces, not sure what else. He had a ball for a short time. Fantastic accuracy from the start. Then he had a case blow and it exploded a magazine out of the gun, scratched him a little and scared him. He thought it might have begin at the extractor groove in the chamber. He sent the barrel off to the maker. They did something and sent it back. He got it together and shot some more. Then another blow up. The maker would not do any more work and said they were discontinuing the line. So he swapped it off.

A Magnum Research in .22 WMR I saw had a gas bleed off on the underside of the barrel into the forend cavity. Sort of a retarded blow back. So that's how they do it.

WHY DO YOU STAY THERE?

Need to go there and try to reach the locals. If all the good people leave then there will BE no hope.

That said, I am glad that God has not called ME to missionary work in CA.
