Krogers pulls all firearms publications

Went into my local Smith's grocery store today, as I've done regularly for 30 years, and all firearms publications were gone. Figured they moved them -- walked everywhere to no avail. Found the store manager and when his head went down, I knew we were in trouble. Orders from on high, Krogers HQ. He's ex-military and has a few guns, his daughter is ROTC and has recently won several shooting awards and is being recruited by big time colleges so he was easy to talk to and understanding both. I asked where to write and he said Krogers, the subsidiary stores (Smith's, Fred Meyer) have no say in the matter. Looked online and there were articles from last month saying they were pulling magazines about assault rifles. It just never ends...
