As a former student of historical geology I hate the fact I always hold things in suspicion. Trilobites 400 million years old and not just 100 million. Continental drifting. Does anyone alive really know? I took the classes and know where they got their theories and all. Did a fellow send some boys up there to peck out crude outlines for tourists in WWI, 1940's, 60's? Out totally in the middle of BFE too. What century would one even begin to speculate? What questions those images do conjure. The country so close to where man's journey first began.
I find it best to just enjoy the romance and wonder. If I am to be a fool by my own hand, make it a romantic fool.
Did you take pics of any others?
Sadly, several hundred pictures...

It will be a while sorting them out. Daren and Gary talked me into taking my good camera. Glad they did.
I also love this old stuff. Took lots of pictures of odd (to me) plants and such too.
So much to see in this area and the people were amazing. We take so much for granted.
My only regret is not taking more to give away. It was quite selfish of me to avoid the small premium for exceeding the baggage weight limit.
Thanks Huey

cooks, camp ladies etc. The last evening I collect the $250 from each hunter, give it to John and he parcels it out to each person. I normally don't advise bringing other stuff for them as there are about 30 people there working for John and unless you bring something for each one that causes problems. Huey brought some knives for the guys but again unless you bring something for everyone that can cause some ill feelings. Plus you are limited on weight on your duffle so that effects things too. John normally advises against it.
Yeah, we sought help from our PH on giving...

Stuff out. Understand it can cause real problems. We had enough knives for everyone at the skinning shed or wouldn't have gotten them out.
As Ive posted, our PH was a class act and handled this for us.
The PH I had is a Zulu
