It still sucks. Not second guessing the Lord
I'm sure not that stupid. But I do miss his participation in this worldly ride. O'l Squirrley McClure too. The next HHC will be a humbling, slightly awkward, experience. I look back to the last one, never imagining it WAS truly the last one. We need to pick up the baton from our fallen brethren and enjoy life to the fullest. Being sad does not accomplish anything, be thankful to have known and experienced, that's the ticket. Make more memories and be a positive influence to others. Every one might be the last, we need to live our life like that. Lorry less, love more, lots more. That's the SECOND commandment.
The first time I met Puffy was at the rebirth of HHC in Texas. He Sean, Andy, and Curt all hit it off so well I thought they must have been lifelong buddies. In truth it was much more recent. It was really great how everyone treated me, a goofy, Arky. I really enjoyed it, a bond.
No one is truly "gone" . . .
. . . so long as he/she is remembered by someone.

I stumbled upon this photo of a painting I liked
It's modern done but the power of the topic was too much, too powerful a message to pass, so I saved it. I think I found it on Pinterest. The shadowy rainbows perplexed me at first but I think they represent "promises kept". Such is art.
I'll share it with you guys who I think can appreciate it.
