Having had cuts deep enough to require a tourniquet, I'm respectful of a sharp edge. A pane of glass fell on my thigh from a garage door among other accidents. That said, due to work I can't carry a firearm as much as I'd like. I do, however, carry a small specialized fixed blade everywhere and have for years. Fits flat in my right front pocket. Most days its all I have. So, mine isn't a back up to my back up. It's my one, my only, and my everything.
LOL. You think people have issues with concealed carry,.. on the occasions I have to dump my pockets out you should see their faces when I break out a concealed fixed blade. I get looks like I'm psychotic or something.
