never shot one, but I have the opportunity to buy one from a guy who found the recoil of a .454 Casull to be a bit more than he bargained for. He has fired a whopping total of 15 shots through it. I suggested that he may want to try shooting some .45 Long Colt ammo through it and eventually work up to some .454's if he felt so inclined. He offered to sell it to me for $650. Says this was the first single action he ever shot other than a .357 Blackhawk years ago. Before I part with some cash...which is not in the nature of us Pennsylvania Dutch, I figured a few of you own one or more and can give me your insights.
