John talking about a Bulldog in each bathroom reminded
me of this. Over the weekend Colleen was in No. California at a Jack Russell field trial and I was at home with the rest of the mutts. About 8 pm on Sunday night the dogs started growling and they normally don't do that unless it is someone they don't know at the door or a strange car has pulled in the driveway. I was in the Trophy/reloading room when I heard the growling. I got up to walk up the hall to the front living room and remembered I didn't have a gun readily available back in my trophy/reloading room. That made me feel a bit stupid. Guns everywhere but not where I was at the time. It turned out to be someone turning around in the drive and driving off (we live on a dead end street). That made me think a bit. If someone came in the front door and I was back in the back side of the house the bad guys would be closer to my guns than me. After that I made sure and stashed a couple of guns in places where I can get to them easily. Now John has mentioned the bathroom. And if Colleen is gone as she was last weekend and I am in the shower, well, you know the rest. So now comes a gun in each bathroom. And obviously stainless, as John mentioned with his stainless Bulldogs.
The point of this is, how many of you have guns accessible in every room of your house. And thanks to John for the ideas.
