.38-40 WCF (Since I couldn't get a .44-40 Colt New Frontier bbl. on it like Taffin...)

Top, my GNR replica Bang-Flopper .41 GNR.

Lot of serious in a small package, .401 GNR. #5 grip is well suited for that level of power.

Yea that #5 in 401GNR is a sweet rig!

That are all nice but for me the 401 stands out!
Roman likes it too, very easy shooting

What a nice middle between the .357 and .44, but with a lot more power. It's actually the full equal of the .44 Magnum with the higher velocity the .400 pushes. The 200's are particularly nice but I can do 230's. Any .41 slug can be sized down to .401" pretty easy.

I've worn coke bottle thick glasses my whole life so it's easy for me to forget others. Even Roman. We've discussed it and he's good to gear up now.
I always like that #5 pic--the cast bullet is one of mine :)

Gas checks too. But I now have some honest .40 checks out of Texas.
Huge fan of your El Diablo. I thought I'd seen some

the factory Ruger aluminum sight edges where they rub my holster. I have taken wild dog and a nice sheep with the .44 Special. I used some ammo Jon Thompson loaded for the wild dog, looked like a Hornady XTP. The sheep was an old school Remington 240 JHP at about 950 fps, the old scalloped lead nose. A good old bullet which fully penetrated broadside, on the sheep.
I have carried it for CCW in both a Simply Rugged Sourdough hip and inside waist holster plus my Kangaroo concealment band rig. It does not bother me at all.
the load for the dog was a 180g XTP

right at 1000 fps, not hot, not mild, just about right. I think about 8 or grains of Unique if I remember correctly, which is getting harder to do hahahaha
