but not really any thinner than the .45 Colt Blackhawk. I guess it's OK, I know there is no special hardening sorcery. That has been tried before and is always problematic. All steel is pretty good in comparison today. You can only hot up a 10mm so much anyway (which is plenty) with the limited capacity. This platform is great as you can also shoot .40 S&W or seat those long and load 10mm loadings (super long) .40 S&W ammo, special for revolvers.
