Research Institute in 1976 I got to work with the guys that were doing the initial targeting research for the radar for the PHALANX. I learned a lot about radar design from them and the theory of radar detection. I bought a Walther PPKS that year and paid $400 for it. Carried it for years until I could afford a good 45. Those were the good ole days alright.
