Sold the last motorcycle in the garage today. Got my first at 7 and have had one ever since. Being out here in Portland, the land of morons, I got tired of fighting the traffic and people not looking. Every ride was mortal combat, so I stopped riding about 2 years ago. Sold the Z1000 and now the KLR. Feels very strange. I know I will get another once I am settled back in Montana, but walking out into the garage wont be the same till then. Like looking at an empty gun safe.....

AND we will go hunting...

I have friends there who own a large farm/ranch and when I am done with tech work I am destined to work on trucks and tractors.

Very empathetic. I went w/o an Airhead BMW a while...

It was rough on me. Finally hooked up an old /5, we are good now. I could sell the Duc, the Suzi is not worth that much so I'll keep it around. Get to MT and get right, a man needs 2-3 to suit the mood, plus one took all apart. It gives one a sense of hope and mental direction.

Sometimes, I'm not too sure about your mental direction.

I was into old Hondas. Had some cool stuff, too. Mid 70s 750s, '70 CB125, '77 CB400F, a few 550s, a 350CL. About 15 years ago I sold it all. I was running out of room and gaining more projects that I could keep. Well,.. now I'm working on a '74 shovel, a '64 Triumph, and a scooting around on a junky late model sportster.

Man I hate that for you. I loved riding in Portland

Did the Carson to Cougar run in Washington or the Antelope to Fossil run
almost every weekend in the summertime. Did track days at PIR. It is a great place for knee dragers. And running from Portland to the cost over the mountains was great.

I raced for years at PIR and like riding through the

backroads. The traffic is just too much nowadays. The area is growing by 40k people a year and the traffic is just insane now. Its a good thing I can work from home most of the time. If I have to go into the office I have to leave by 5:30 am or its bumper to bumper.

Ouch!

Good riding up there. Arkansas is much nicer with a lot less snowflakes.

Pick up a Grom and you'll feel 7 again. . .
