Sorry, I just dont see them getting more business as an issue.

will help local gun shops. I have found that the ATF is passing information that it is not good practice for FFL dealers to accept individual sale guns via-internet for local transfer. Even with proper photo copy of I.D. (same as walking in off the street and selling to the dealer) They are prompting dealers to request a FFL dealer to FFL dealer transfer for say "Gun Broker" sales. This really pisses me off as I always give my FFL $20 as a tip, since he says he'd do it for me for free. We have a very good relationship and I want to keep it.
Still the LGS gets the guy in there, he may need ammo or accessories after the transfer sale anyway. Everybody does. But I think the Obamma admin is a shadowy remnant in the ATF basically instilling "policy" as effectual "law" in practice. It's costing me $20 a pop when I sell online and a FFL demands I ship "from" my FFL. It's not the law.
I think that is just a rumor going around. One of

our Misfits on here is a big shot in the ATF and he keeps me up on all the new rules and regs and he hasn't mentioned that at all. There are too many other changes that politicians are proposing for the ATF to bother with the small stuff, plus there is absolutely no reason for them to even consider something like that. The gun shop has the person's driver's license, and can call the serial number in to check the gun,(which most gun shops do) and the buyer has to go thru the NICS check, unless he has a CCW, so all the bases are covered. Just an idiot rumor.
RUmor or not it's costing me money, FFLs are

mandating the shipment be from another FFL. This is usually after a sale is negotiated on GB or the like. I could be an asshole but it is not worth the $20 to cause the unsuspecting buyer such heartache. They know little difference. I even had one FFL call me a pitch at me since I sent him both a FFL copy and my DL. He was pissed he didn't know which to use. I sort of told HIM to kiss my ass, nicely. I was a FFL for 27 yrs. and not that gullible. But we agreed to disagree, I told him it would never be an issue again, I'd see to that.
