since I was talking it up. The little 32 gr. pill at 4200 fps is very fun around here. Shoots flatter than a .22-250 and uses .223 charges. I need to order me a new Stainless G2 chassis. I'm thinking of ordering a "rifle" set to get the Rynite stock and forend, worth lots more than the handgun parts I can buy, Pachmayr.

But last .204 I had was a Encore 28" bull. The heft was really beneficial in a steady hold. The little G2 is also a heavier build tube but a handy 23".

I'm inclined toward another .204 Encore rifle but still thinking until the money hits. Wondering what the other guys would figure...

I have a 19 inch Contender barrel that is awesome to shoot. Don't think I am getting 4200 fps but it is easy and fun to shot. All loads are accurate with 32's.

Even with the 28" I saw 3900 with my loads.

I didn't really push them as accuracy was so good.

My .204 is a CZ bolt and very accurate.

I’m partial to a 20-222

based on what you'd call the .222 Magnum Case, a bit longer, more capacity, and changed neck/angle. But I bet you already knew that. The old .222 sure had a nice balance.
