. . . half-cocked it's important to recall that ejector rod housings, just like grip frames, are "screwdriver variations". Many have been swapped both ways in the past. Both the Old Model .44 Flatties as well as the Old Model .44 Supers will be found with either aluminum or steel ejector rod housings, and there are even variations within the housing details.
