I've got the cartridge in G2s, both 24" and 13".
But, the petit little CZ appeals to me. So do the 6.5s in general.
I really like the set trigger and the accuracy these rifles produce.
The cartridge is a ballistic twin to the old 250 Savage. One of the best deer getters in history.

It shot Ok, a bout 20% under a 6.5 Swede. The mags were special. But it shot fine, low recoil. If you are a total .264 nut it might be fun.

6.5 Grendel would be a great little staking rifle and a good trainer for new shooters. Being easy on the shoulder would be welcome for the young and old alike. With selected bullets and loads a good understudy to 308 as they would have similar trajectories.
Pretty cool combination. Should be very handy.

...AR in 6.5G. Carbon Fiber Handguards and a bunch of lightweight stuff. Topped with a Weaver 2-7 and 5 in the mag it weighs around 6.25 lbs. Good shooter. I just never fell in love with it. It's a dream to carry. Never had an issue dropping deer or hogs with Hornady 123s.

You’ll have to shoot my Ruger American Predator in .308. The 6.5 would be great addition and the prices are right!

Have not set it up or fired it yet. I like the 6.5 Grendel in the ar platform. Drops deer, bang flop with nosler 100gr. partitions. My fav upper I built with a Liberty barrel. Very speedy and accurate. With the Ruger I will explore more traditional weight 6.5 bullets. The 100 grains shoot so well for me in the ar I never tried any heavier weights, shoots partitions and BT's to same at 300yds. Plenty of zip for my deer hunting.
Have no experience with the Grendel, but i love...
