We live about 6 miles from town and on a main 2-lane highway. Along our 24 acres the road gently curves. SOMEONE straightened out the curve and went off the road. The road is about 7-8 ft. higher than the ground in the ditch. The embankment drops that much in about 20 ft. pretty steep if you are leaving the road at 55 mph. They bullseye'd my corner post for our highway gap, totally wiping it out. I see the tracks where they traveled about 100 yds. and turned in the pasture, momentarily getting stuck. Finally they turned around and for some reason charged back through the fence crashing in to the ditch embankment. Then they backed up and drove down and up the embankment returning to the highway the direction they originally came from. It must have been one heck of a ride! I was able to find pieces of a headlight assembly in the tall grass. It had a Chrysler marking and a part number on a few pieces. I traced it to a 2005-07 Jeep Liberty. Nothing to do but fix the fence. About 4-5 T-posts and some wire.

Craziest thing. Wild off-roader.
