Reeder Custom Guns - Gary suggestions needed

I have a SBH .44 i want to send in for one of your conversions to 45 LC. Thinking maybe the Ultimate 45 but with a Magnum grip frame. I want to shoot +p, trying to decide between 5" and 6" bbl. Is yhere any advantage to the 6 over the 5? Is this a good conversion for +p 45 LC?

the 5 shot cylinder. It is beefier and longer for the hot stuff. In almost every case, when a gun blows the cylinder has to go first and with a 5 shot cylinder you have an extra margin of safety.

In performance on barrel lengths? Thinking about 5 or 6 inches.

I seem to recall 5" will get most of the goodie out of it and will be a little more packable. Gary's barrels are heavy, so if you like a little more muzzle heavy the 6" would be slightly heavier out front. No noticeable difference in velocity or sight radius though.
