I saw in a post below you don't chamber any belted mags. in the encore anymore was wondering if it's because of the extractor chambering deal? Or is there a safety problem with the belted cases? I've got one of your barrels in 300 win. mag. and it works great just took a little getting used to the chambering trick but once I got the hang of it no problems.

is a good friend and years ago he said if we chambered any belted mags we could run into problems with broken extractors and sticking cases. I figured Ernie knew what he was talking about so we quit building them. Just watch your loads in your barrel and check your extractor from time to time.

Like the idea of a 416GNR carbine

Sounds like a lot of fun. I see more of the carbine’s in 378 GNR or smaller. I have one in 366GNR and 257GNR and really like them. Good bunch of bullets .416 to work with.

Sorry that was for Grover one post up
