Hong Kong Leupold? World market?

I'm not saying they are manufactured there, not at all, I do not know. However this WAS purchased from Hong Kong off of Ebay. A friend decided it was worth the gamble and I did not try very hard to talk him out of it for $150 including shipping and no tax. I'm not endorsing anything just the facts. I wanted to see what gives.

It took over 3 weeks to arrive, the shipment did have clear communication and tracking. It arrived a couple days ago and I was able to look it over very well. It seems new in the factory Leupold box with all literature and warranty papers. I did not try to scan that little thingy painted on the side as of yet. You can do it with a phone app. The optics look very crisp and clear as you would expect. The zoom works as it should and does not change the eye relief at all. The click indices work and are different from any Leupold I have previously seen. The turrets are taller, you can see that from across the room. SO buyer take note of this late feature! Older Leupold scopes have very short turrets and no actual "click" indices, you had to use a nickel for the fat slot and use the markers. I have never really liked that, but it works. This one is designed to simply use your fingers and you can feel the clicks.

He is only putting it on a .22-250 but I'll have a field report soon as to the repeatability of the adjustments. I'm not sure at all what is up. This is a public service announcement....
