the new Hornady DGX (Dangerous Game Expanding) 500 grain bullet. One shot put him on the ground, it took one more to keep him down. The bullet performed perfectly. I called Steve Hornady and thanked him for sending me a great bullet.

It is sort of strange that my first African safari was in 1992 and I used the 450 GNR with the Hornady 510 grain soft point and 26 years later used the same caliber with another Hornady bullet.
