Rust cleaning?
Well, 2 years ago I lost a friend to a terrible disease. I helped his widow sell his guns to raise some much needed cash. I purchased one myself to keep for his only child.
This week I was visiting with her and his son, when she said she found a couple more guns that she wanted to sell. All of these have surface rust. Some bad. The worst are a pre smith and Wesson encore frame and a newer g2 frame. I doubt either have been fired because I sold him both and they were I fired when I sold them to him and I don't remember him ever buying stocks or barrels.
What is the best way to go about cleaning this mess?
I bought the remaining guns to help her out and plan to keep them for now. I hope to make these shooters for myself.
