I remember reading Keith blew his .45 Colt with Black powder he had ground into baby powder! No wonder. Basically firecracker stuff, lol.

I have (2) 2.5" bore BP cannon that I shoot once in a blue moon. I really need "Cannon" or Fg, I can use FFg and I reduce the charge by 30%. But the ball is loose, not patched, 0.150" slop or what we call "windage" on the projectile.

Scale is a big difference; 3 lb. ball and 700 gr. charge!
