I was riding my motorcycle home from work yesterday. I had ridden the Ducati, feeling a little puckish. Full face helmet, leather jacket, and matching gloves. I rumbled up to a 4-way stop sign and looked down. "HEY, a nice wheelweight!" It was right by my boot. SO I put her in neutral and leaned over to pick it up. Oh, oh, oh almost..... Cripes, blast carbon fiber knuckles, they prevented me precious millimeters needed to pick up the prize (without falling over). I'm sure to any other automobile drivers arriving at the stop it looked like I was trying to insert my own head up my arse. Piss off I'm getting this wheelweight, it's about (4) .32-20's or two .510 GNR slugs! I heard some cars zoom on as I struggled in my reach. Just as the tips of two fingers lifted the metal weight I felt a tendon slide across my shoulder bone and burn like a fiery rod, Charlie Horse! Of course this made me involuntarily convulse wildly. I'm sure to the confused bemusement of any onlookers.

By golly I got it though! I just could not help myself. I have a pallet of them in 5-gal. buckets in the shop, but NOW I have one more! lol

Once. Saw it out my front passenger window as I was doing 70mph. Mud tires on the old truck take a lot of weight. Just happened to look over at the right time to see it float by clear as day. Gave me a chuckle thinking a 4 oz wheel weight @ 120fps would leave a mark on you!

Scotty, this post hit home to me. I pick up every one I see. I ride a bicycle a lot and always come home with wheelweights, sockets, pliers, end wrenches, etc. I picked up several wheelweights today when I was getting my oil changed in Jeep. Just can't help picking up stuff along the road. Needed a video of you trying to pick that one up with a Charlie horse.
