couple of guns from a small estate. The little old lady's

husband was a cop and these are his guns. He died a few years back and she finally decided to sell them. First is his regular carry gun, a very early S&W Model 19 in 357. This is the 4" model, the one Bill Jordan loved and carried. Typical COP gun, carried a lot but shot a little. This is a 19-2 which is an early gun when S&W was at their peak. By my S&W book, it was made in 1959. The gun is super tight with the good .002 barrel/cylinder gap. It has the diamond grips (Colleen sold a set of these recently on gunbroker for almost $150). The gun has a lot of tiny holster or handling scratches which could probably be buffed out or just left as character. The gun is super tight and except for the handling marks, just like it came from the factory. This one is priced at $525 plus shipping.

The next gun was her husband's off duty gun. It is the S&W Model 457, which is a 45 ACP pistol. It shows some rub marks from him carrying it in a small of the back holster. Other than that it is in great shape. He put the soft rubber factory grips on it. It is priced at $425 plus shipping. A great deal for a very well made S&W 45 auto.This was Puffy's favorite DA 45. He had one just like it.
