sure they wanted to sell it but here it is. It is a Weatherby Mark 5 in 270 Weatherby. The gun is several years old but never fired. It is new in a ratty box with all the paperwork. Typical great wood and smooth action. It would normally be around $1495 but is sale priced at $1050 plus shipping, which is a helluva deal for a brand new unfired Mark 5.

It predates the 7mm Rem. some 20 yrs. It's basically a Wby. version of the later 7mm Mags but in .277 cal. rather than .284 and all of Roy's performance MK5 tricks. Shoots flat, bullets work as intended. Pure hunting rifle with no target pedigree even hinted, a singular purpose rig. Success at any reasonable range.

Slick rig for sure, a Pros gun.
