Gary - about your gun socks

I noticed you sell them, are they ideal for long term storage (put gun in, take gun out every six months or so) in a safe? Are they "treated" or any such thing? I'm asking since I live on the Redneck Rivera - aka south Alabama, where the humidity is thick enough to cut with a knife most months of the year. Thanks,

keep my Encores in Gary's gun socks in my safe year round. I take them out every six months or so (or whenever I think of it) and have not had any issues with rust at all. FWIW department.

I bought a 10 count bag of 4x4 inch desiccant bags about 5 years ago. I threw some in my Gun Safes. I was getting a little surface rust on scope rings and such. I haven't had any issues since. I'm in SC. Same issues with humidity.
