Reeder Custom Guns - First off Jerry Lewis and a gun, not a good mental image

He was so goofy in character. I'm sure in real life he was an intelligent man, had to be. Hopefully he could turn it off too! I really enjoyed his performances, first about 20 yrs. post war with my grandparents then 40 yrs. afterward with my children. He has always brought clean humor into our home. My daughter in particular would enjoy any artifact she could ever manage to obtain. I might be a player on some common gun. The common pieces are extra valuable only by provenance. The estimates are truly way low, I guess to stimulate sleeper interest. Many of the nicer pieces I figure to double the estimates easily.

COLGATE COMEDY HOUR--MUST HAVE BEEN AROUND 1948-49. HE WAS ALSO VERY FAST WITH A COLT SINGLE ACTION AS WAS SAMMY DAVIS JR. BOB MUNDEN HAD SAMMY'S 7-1/2" COLT GIVEN TO HIM BY SAMMY ON A TV SHOW.

Walked into Sammy and his wife May near the stage door to the old Stanley theater in Jersey City many years ago... Great people... Some years later I ran into a beautiful holster belonging to Sam made by Hollywood Leather Company.
Need to get the cartridge loops replaced as they dried out.
