My .32-20 fired once, then w/o good dies it split on the second firing. I shot a 90 gr. XTP at about 900 fps using 4227. It shoots pretty well. Very interesting mechanicals.
Will the factory brass take too much challenge

Plenty funky still, it's 1/4" longer than .32-20

and bigger around. The PPV was a little cheaper. Cost us $55 for two boxes of (50) to the house. Dies are around $40 from LEE. It's sort of a magnum .32-20 and about on the same level as the .32 H&R. But you have to remember that was over 100 yrs. ago too. I think the flat nose FMJ has more smack than you'd think. Probably rivals the 9mm RN.

for some obscure brass. I paid like $45 for a box of Remington 32 wcf when I first bought a SW hand ejector.
