I’m so depressed....moths....

I have a taxidermy collection that has grown over my lifetime. My wife and I decided to build a new house so that we would have enough room to take in my 80+ year old parents.

Everything went into temp controlled storage units for 2 years. I emptied out the final unit with my taxidermy, etc. a few months ago. And I discovered moths....I bug bombed them twice....no effect.

Today an exterminator has arrived to begin treatment over an extended period of time. So far, I’ve lost about a dozen mounts and three bear rugs. I have 40 mounts....there’s moths everywhere now that I’ve disturbed everything. Will keep you posted....

out here we don't have moths but the dryness will ruin a

mount real quick. In the last bit I have lost a full mount ostrich, full mount Blackbuck, shoulder mounts on a Caribou, warthog, couple of sheep, and noticed that I am getting splits around the eyes and mouths of 2 elk, my big watusi, a Nilgai, and several others.
