Before you start thinking your pocket .380 is .25 ACP sized

I really like the super small .380's concept and the teeny bit larger 9mm are fantastic. But the old .25 ACP is about as small as you can go and still manage it.

I chose the Kahr because it was the smallest that had REAL sights on it that I could see. The Ruger and others are comparable, up to your personal tastes. Sights on a pocket piece are arguable but by golly that's what I wanted, at least drift adj. sights that I could see. I also like no "safety" or other buttons or gadgets to get in the way. I'll be more careful not to shoot myself (or anyone else) in the butt, with the hefty long trigger DA pull.

Interestingly the blowback and all steel .25 has three safety features. A manual lever, grip safety, and mag. disconnect. It is also 1.5 oz. heavier with no mag than the .380 at just under 12 oz.

No contest as to the power but a .25 in your pocket in a time of need is better than a .380 left in your truck glove box. For last ditch they are still valid. We ordered new grips and figured the stiff mag extraction issue. The grip screws were swapped, they were protruding and dragging on the mag through the frame! A simple fix. She's a keeper.
