Reeder Custom Guns

87 was the number of rock chucks I shot this year. It was a good season and I was able to get out quite a few times.

In the past, duties have been shared between the Coyote Classic in 218 Mashburn Bee and the 300 GNR. This season all were taken with the 300 GNR shooting a cast 100 gr. LBT HP and IMR 4227.

This is probably the last chuck I will shoot this year.

Are you using a revolver 300GNR or a Thompson? I have a Contender that likes 1680 and a 110 VMax.

grasses and natural food sources start drying up they tend to go into an almost summer time hibernation. They must do a little feeding at night, but from about the middle of July until generally some time in March you will not find a chuck out, and the lack of tracks and crap confirm this to me.

Also my work does not let me get out much from about the end of June until the 15th of September or so.
