applied for his license to carry a firearm. In fact I conducted the course that he took.

Well. He told me that the police chief rejected his application. The reason is that he had a OUI( operating under the influence) in 1997. According to the law there is a five year time span regarding a person having an LTC and an OUI conviction.

I have somewhat mixed feelings in regard to this issue. I can understand the impact of being pulled over and an officer discovers that the driver is over the legal limit but I am not sure if it should affect your second amendment rights.

Where at? Sounds like liberal California or the NE...

My friend and his wife are looking at land in Maine. He said that he plans to fight it with a lawyer but if it fails a move to the Pine Tree State is in order.

I rank Mass right there with the west coast lib trash

When I 1st moved to NH from MA, Mass. held me up because of a traffic citation (U turn) 15 years old. I got a copy of the citation and showed it to the Police Chief and I had to pay the $10.00 fee and was OK to go.

1997-2018 am I missing something?
