I use a Kangaroo Carry band holster and really like it for car travel. You'd have to practice to be fast with it. They show a guy in a video but I can't do that, yet. I can carry a .380 to a 6" GP 100 in it. If I have to go to the bathroom I have no worries as it has nothing to do with my pants. A great bonus for traveling. BUT, twice when I bent over almost upside down my little .380 fell out and onto the ground! Once in Wal-mart while trying on water shoes, no telling how many camera's were on me, but I played it cool. My fault for not using the velcro retention strap. The gun is so light I forget it's there. That's when I palmed it and swapped to my Reeder holster....

At the same time I carry my Reeder slide on my belt with jeans. It's flat and I forget it's there until I need it! In the room at night I usually take off the "gun bra" and then that Reeder slide is right where I need it on an odd trip to the car late at night in unfamiliar areas. If need be I can double carry too as I brought my Airweight S&W snubby for back up and my wife. Roman is armed like a Russian anti-terrorist operative for Putin himself, such is youth.

As for me my two packing travel pieces together weigh the same as my loaded G30s. I'm just a bit more laid back this trip but still armed and on alert. Our stops are more minimal this time. I have a Reeder slide on my belt about all the time. Everyone needs at least one.

By the Russian Roman comment I guess he's packing the

And we converted a 9mm Tok to 7.62X25. THAT's a hot one.

I think he brought the G19 and has the little Astra .25 in a pocket, plus about 4-5 knives. He really likes knives, has a couple of Gary's too.

Can't go wrong with a G19. . .
