Looks like an easy to carry little gun. Found one local for $259.

I'll have to pick that one up then. It looks to be in great shape. Hope it's there when I get back.

Sort of a steel framed 9mm version of the PD .45

I feel they are very under-stressed with 9mm with renewed springs from Wolff. About as small and compact as you can go and still have a good hand hold. Locked breach makes the slide easy to work with weak hands too. Single stack makes it thinner than a Glock etc. My only critique is that magazines are a little pricey and aftermarket versions may be iffy. Real solid gun and a value for the money. Mine hit POA, six-o'clock hold, with 147 gr. JHP. Just the way I like it.

The BKM, with alloy frame, is a little hard to find and is a real peach since it's notably lighter.

I knew that you all like the Star PD..

.. but I wasn't sure if the BM was match for the same gun in 9mm. Good to hear that it is. I'll pick it up today if its still there.

They really are nice 9mm's, perfectly proportioned.

I found some custom grips in Vietnam online. Took a chance and ordered them, two weeks they arrived as advertised. Nicely hand checkered exotic hardwood. I think they were about $40. Mags run $65-75 for originals with the rounded chrome plated follower.

Make sure that gun has an original mag.

I will check the mag.
