I bought about 10k rounds of this Federal #510 LR ammo. Really nasty stuff, leads too. I took some LEE liquid Alox and with my fingers (perhaps a Q-tip would be better, or your fingers will smell funny) applied the thinnest coating on the external lubed LR projectiles. Don't get it on the brass casings.

Man did it help that cheap ammo! No more leading. However, you could over do that Alox stuff pretty easy and get things gummy. I did a couple boxes at a time and let them dry overnight. It might be fun to try and see if it helps or hurts the issue.
