the surge in handgun hunting.

When I was a teenager there was a newsstand in town that sold penny candy and other things. On the other side was a full bar so is life when Massachusetts was still America.

I recall many of the specialty magazines like Magnum Handguns, Handgun Hunting, Skeeter Skelton Handgun Tales and the like. I do have some of the old Phil Engledrums self published works with his weird sense of humor.

That is when I got hooked on handgun hunting. I relished reading of the exploits of writers experimenting with heavy bullets and that is when I became aware of HHI. I joined and after that it was all down hill.

There are times I wished I could go back to those days.
