Always intriguing to me how the fine single shot rifles just won't go away.

When I was much younger, the gun publications always depressed me. Every one I ready predicted doom for the single shot and lever action rifles. Revolvers were pretty much guaranteed to become obsolete.

Now, I truly believe we are living in the Golden Age of revolvers and the fine single shot rifles keep marching on. It's good to see...

damn, did I write something about single shot rifles? I

We have them come in the gun shop all the time spouting almost word for word what was in the ads. One fellow told us recently that the 6.5 Creedmore shot flat to 800 yards. No holdover required. He said he saw it on the internet so it must be true. And we were dumb shits because we didn't believe it. And that company with the whiz bang 22 caliber that is still supersonic at over 1300 yards. I remember older gents bashing me about my "useless" scoped TCs. I usually don't agree with them, but try to bite my tongue.

Always figured I was just born 100 years to late.

Give me a Rolling Block or one of the various Falling Blocks and Im happy.
