Reeder Custom Guns - my way to relax

I just relaxed by watching some kick ass rock & roll on the AXS channel. Sammy Hagar and some other rock groups were doing their thing and doing it very well. An hour of watching a good rock group in concert helps smooth things out after a hectic day. It is amazing that most of the rock groups I watch are in their late 60s or early 70s and they are still kicking ass. Good rock & roll pays no attention to age.

I have seen about 200 live Rock shows and about 1000 other live music shows.
Where i live, Clarksdale MS,There is nothing but blues music. I can watch live blues 7 nights a week. You become choosey about the live music when there is that much choice.

concert at the auditorium in Nashville every Saturday night. Our DJs MC'd the shows and we got to go to the after concert party at the Andrew Jackson Hotel after the concert. The booze flowed freely and the groupies were accommodating. Most of the rock groups were OK. Some were snobs but most were decent guys out for a good time. Not too many groups in the late 60s and thru the 70s that we didn't get to meet and have a good time with. Lots of good memories.

Its routine to hear AC/DC at football games, Def Leppard, Blue Oyster Cult and others at big gatherings. Funny to see the younger folks jamming out to music that is 30 years old or older.

mostly in the disco stuff. The kick ass rock groups were falling by the wayside by the mid to late 80s which to me was a shame. A lot of it had to do with the groups getting older and not touring as much. I retired from radio in '85 and got into doing the custom guns full time. So some of the late 80s stuff I am not too familiar with.
