Recently I spent several days in Chicago and befriended a Chicago PD officer of 40 years. We discussed the violence and here is what he had to say: Social decay at its worst. Lack of respect for human life. Its not liberalism, its the worst aspects of socialism. Godless and fatherless children. Lousy (rotten) judges and ineffective laws. But the good thing is they will eventually kill off one another and the tricky part is staying our of the crossfire.
