IPSC, running a 4" 629, cratered steel popper a bot TOO close, right at the start of a 30+ round course of fire...
BANG! SMACK! Middle of the forehead, instant blindness with blood over my shooting glasses. Ended up with a couple of pieces of lead about the size of a match head being dug out of my thick skull. Load was hard cast 200s @ around 1000...
