My 250 gnr is a 10" barrel and I was shooting the 70? Grain Sierra hollow point. My personal preference on hunting scopes is the 4x leupold, which is what I had on it at the time I shot my hog. My first shot was 60-ish yards and broke his shoulder. Wasn't a bang flop, but sure surprised all of us there, as the first shot clearly broke him down and allowed for a finishing shot.
