and the slides are still in the rough, so no pics of them yet. But good LORD willing we will have 1911s in 9mm, 38 Super, 10mm and 45. Still waiting on a large batch of barrels and small parts.
Hoping December will have some right nice sales...

I know the pinned frame ejector is different. Never have I studied too much more than the basic function of the 1911. Once, under duress, I was forced to understand the barrel link and locking interfaces. I found there are 4-5 different link "sizes" or numbers with differing heights and lock-up/slide closing variations. My slide was not flush with the frame but fully locked with the barrel, a different link for the new barrel fixed it. It was close enough to shoot as it was, but sure worried me till I fixed it.
The timing and functions always astonished me in conversations with Kase. Boy there is a LOT to know and he really impressed me with his young in-depth knowledge. It's NOT like amateur slapping an AR together with roll pins and such. Plus you can blow it all up!
Is there a differing in the barrel ramp interface with the frame? I've read about ramp and supported barrels and such but never really understood. I just wondered if there was a big difference or dedicated "9mm/.38 Super frame compared to a 1911?
nope, the frames are all the same as far as caliber is

concerned. The caliber differs in the slide, barrel and magazine plus a small part or 2.
I’m putting money together for a 10mm

Approximately how much for a fairly plane jane (dont want to attract any more ladies) stainless 10mm bunny buster?
Also, any ideas for non standard (proprietary) calibers?

will keep them reasonable. Nothing yet on proprietary calibers.
Are you thinking of a new series?
