A local gunshop/range I frequent in Venice, FL has a nice selection of b-a rifles, so I asked to see a lightweight 308Win. Virtually all were chambered in 6.5 MoreCreepy. Couldn't hold my frustration (as usual) and ripped their asses. The owner (a decent fella with a heavy southern accent) just smiled and said: "You're right, but that's what people are buying right now, I can order you that 308!" Nuff said.
