Sensivity issues? I was thinking of getting some but me conditions (TX) are probably different than Africa.

Thoughts?

gary, you are worrying way too much about the Africa hunt

there won't be any radical temperature changes while you are there. Figure lo to mid 40s in the mornings and maybe 60 in the afternoon. Their April is like our October. Don't sweat the small stuff. July and August are their cold months. I have seen it 20 degrees in the tents in an August hunt. Long icicles off the shower heads. But even then there was no change in the ammo we used. I shot a Kudu with the temp around 20 and there was no problem with the powder. No hesitation or anything.

RL 22 is good powder for both my 300

Win Mag and my 7mm Rem Mag, we see temp changes from the mid 40s in the morning to high 80s in the afternoon. I get more change in the barrel heating up than from the powder. find a load that is accurate in your gun and shoot it as much as you can dont worry about shit you cant control, just work on those things you can. My 2 cents worth only, your mileage will vary.
